The text versions of the scriptures formerly available here have been converted to web documents. In 1979-1981 the chapter headnotes of the LDS scriptures were changed and updated by the Church with new and/or expanded information. These new headnotes, while not actually part of the scriptural text, are under copyright protection. Hence the pre-1981 headnotes appear here. Additionally a "Topical Guide" was added to the Bible to assist cross-referencing topics in all LDS scriptures. The guide is not included here.
